Design your own car-based adventure—whether using your own vehicle or a rental—through our easy-to-use “Road Trip” Booking Engine. From short local drives to long-distance journeys across borders, you can customize your route, add stopovers, and explore points of interest along the way.
Choose How You Travel
Our Road Trip tool supports three trip types:
1. Flight + Rent a Car: Fly to your starting destination and pick up a rental car to begin your road trip.
2. Only Rent a Car: Start from your selected destination with a rental car—no transport provided to get there.
3. With My Own Car: Plan a route with your personal vehicle and book ground services along the way.
Each option provides a tailored experience depending on your needs.
Interactive Route Mapping
Easily build your itinerary using our dynamic map:
• Add destinations to stay in or stops to visit.
• View distances, driving time, and local landmarks.
• Include Points of Interest (POIs) like heritage sites, nature spots, towns, or amusement venues.
• Edit your trip in real time—reorder stops, adjust nights, and explore nearby attractions.
Your entire journey is summarized with total kilometers, travel time, accommodations, and services.
Add Services along the Way
Depending on your selected trip type, you’ll be guided through a step-by-step process including:
• Transportation options
• Car rental selection
• Hotels and accommodations
• Local activities and experiences
All services are shown only where they apply (e.g., accommodation is offered only in overnight stops, not short breaks).
Rental Car Options
When renting a car, you can:
• Pick from multiple categories (economy, compact, etc.)
• Filter by supplier, passenger capacity, gear type, and more
• Add optional extras like GPS, child seats, or insurance
• Select pickup/drop-off points aligned with your trip route
Currently, there are 4 different types of Point of Interests (POIs) that can be differentiated depending on their icon. These are:
1. HERITAGE: If the POI is a monument, castle, monastery ... located between destinations.
2. NATURE: If the POI is a natural park, cave, view point...
3. TOWN: If the POI is a town or village.
4. AMUSEMENT: If the POI implies an activity that requires a ticket. For example: Museums, amusement parks, ski stations...
These are marked along your route and help you plan enriching stops, even if you’re not spending the night.
Final Summary
Once your itinerary is ready, you’ll get a clear trip summary including:
• All confirmed services and reservations
• Distance and drive time between each stop
• POI types and details
• Pick-up and drop-off points
• Your return transport (if booked)
